RONI

RONI originated in 2020 as a writing project by myself (Geraden) and my longtime friend Jordan Mazza. While video games, streaming movies and just about every other mode of virtual entertainment enthralled us during those days, creating art with friends felt like a less mind-numbing distraction. Although, I hesitate to use the word distraction. Our music allowed us to stare down our feelings head on. Friendship, loneliness, love, grief and uncertainty are explored in our music through stories of backyard parties, bird watching and trips to Costco. The chaotic noise of the world at that moment in time, made it easier to find deeper meaning in the mundane day-to-day.

Jake Rowinski took up the bass duties, and Ryan Mcneill on drums to round out the quartet. In December of 2024 we released our first self-produced, self titled record which features 7 songs from our original writing project. Please enjoy this piece of our heart wherever you stream music.
